From the artist's statement regarding the works on display:  "From the earliest paintings in this body of work, I knew I was connecting with ancestors, channeling their spirits, dancing with ghosts. These ghosts were coming from a very wild and green land. I knew that part of the process was healing myself and along with these souls.

It is a very spiritual path from which I emerge with these works.  I have been given a chance at life that many of my ancestors, spirit guides, and muses were not given. I am here now to give them life and expression through my art."
